LSBA Legal Education Assistance Program

About

L.E.A.P

The Legal Education and Assistance Program (LEAP) is the Louisiana State Bar Association’s public-facing initiative that helps people find plain-language legal information and connect with resources, services, and attorneys in their area—primarily through partnerships with public libraries across the state. It runs community offerings like the annual Lawyers in Libraries week and the Law Talks virtual legal education series.

Services & Eligibility

LEAP  has no eligibility restrictions on its legal information and education programs. All Louisianans, regardless of income, are welcome to sign up for free legal consultations via Lawyers in Libraries events, and participate in virtual education programs held through the Law Talks program.
