Southern University Law Center Law Clinic

About

SULC Law Clinic

The Southern University Law Center (SULC) Clinical Education Program provides hands-on legal training to law students while offering free legal services to underserved communities. Through various law clinics, students work under the supervision of licensed attorneys to represent clients in civil matters such as family law, juvenile defense, elder law, and more.

Services & Eligibility

Eligibility for services depends on the clinic and is generally limited to low-income individuals and families who cannot afford legal representation. Clients must meet income guidelines and have a qualifying legal issue that falls within the scope of the clinic’s services.
